Who are we?

The Alexandria Bahá’í community is as diverse as the city we live in. All races, ages, and social classes come together to create a warm and authentic sense of community. What the members of this community share in common is their adherence to the Bahá’í Faith.

What do we do?

Our community includes individuals from all walks of life, but we all share the common goal of serving humanity and refining our inner-lives. Our community is one of learning and action. We strive to cultivate hope for the future, promote unity, and alleviate human suffering.

What is the Bahá’í Faith?

The Bahá'í Faith is the youngest of the world’s independent monotheistic religions. Founded in Iran in 1844, it now has more than six million adherents in 236 countries and territories. Bahá'ís come from nearly every national, ethnic and religious background, making the Bahá'í Faith the second-most-widespread religion in the world.
